Reliable and big physical defenseman. The grand old man of Danish ice hockey.
Represented Denmark 231 times, which was a Danish record when he retired (since broken, current holder is Morten Green).
Scored 494 (157+337) career points in 746 games. Retired in 2006 after having played for 25 seasons.
Worked as a hockey coach, but was fired when he had a physical confrontation with one of his players in 2008. Later worked for Conscensia as a Sales Manager.
His number 23 has been retired by Aalborg club.

Le défenseur costaud et fiable par excellence (et collectionneur de minutes de pénalité...).
Figure tutélaire du hockey danois, il en a accompagné l'ascension durant les années 90 le long de 231 sélections, ce qui était un record à l'époque de son retrait des patinoires (Morten Green l'a battu entre-temps).
A collectionné 494 points (157+337) en 746 parties étalées sur 25 saisons entre 1981 et 2006, pratiquement toutes disputées au Danemark hormis de brefs passages en Allemagne et en Autriche.
Devenu entraîneur assistant à Aalborg, il en a été licencié en 2008 après s'être battu avec un de ses joueurs. Un temps directeur des ventes chez Conscensia, cabinet danois de consultants en informatique, il est revenu au hockey.
Son numéro 23 a été retiré par le club d'Aalborg.
