Right-shooting winger who can create plays. Small-sized (175 cm, 79 kg) but hard-working. Fast and simple game.
Used as a defensive forward because his skating enables him to check opposing forwards tightly.
His childhood idol was Pavel Datsyuk because of his incredible moves. Ehl's style is different but he displays some technical skills.
Started at 17 with his home club Landshut and helped them to move up to DEL2 in 2019 (18 points in 15 playoff games).
Played in all game situations (powerplay and penalty killing) with Landshut, and when he joined Düsseldorf to play in the DEL in 2020.
Scored a goal in his first national team game, on April 28, 2021 vs Slovakia.

Ailier créatif qui tire de la droite. Doté d'un petit gabarit (175 cm, 79 kg) mais infatigable. Jeu simple et rapide.
Utilisé comme attaquant défensif car son patinage lui permet de suivre son homme de près au marquage.
Son idole d'enfance était Pavel Datsyuk à cause de ses mouvements incroyables. Son style n'est pas comparable mais Ehl a des qualités techniques.
