Moved back with his family to Belarus (then Soviet Union) when he was three years old.
Feisty with excellent skating skills. A bit on the smallish size.
Creative playmaker and an offensive forward with defensive issues. Many times opted for the easy way out.
Prone to over-handling the puck and lacking the necessary back-checking work ethic.
Played his last game in 2016 because of concussion problems and announced his official retirement in 2019.
Named general manager of Belarus national team in November 2021.

Rentré avec sa famille en Biélorussie (alors en Union Soviétique) quand il avait 3 ans.
Fougueux avec d’excellents talents de patinage. Pas très grand (180 cm).
Joueur créatif et offensif avec des lacunes défensives, il optait souvent pour la solution de facilité.
Garde un peu trop le palet pour lui et ne fait pas le travail de retour dans sa zone.
Il a joué son dernier match en 2016 à cause de symptômes de commotion mais n'a officialisé sa retraite qu'en 2019.
Nommé manager général de l'équipe nationale du Bélarus en novembre 2021.
