Started skating at 5 and joined Jesenice ice hockey school at 11.
Excellent shot. Quick and smart player with a good team spirit.
Began his adult career playing for HK Kranjska Gora which was Jesenice farm team. Captained Jesenice for many years.
Eight-time Yugoslavian champion with Jesenice. Also played in Italy for HC Alleghe.
Scored 652 (413+239) career points in 452 league games.
Represented Yugoslavia 203 times, scoring 187 points (79+108).
Retired in 1991 after a knee injury. Became an ice hockey coach in Slovenia.
Also spelled his first name as “Edvard”.

Excellent tir. Joueur rapide et intelligent avec un bon esprit d'équipe.
Il a commencé sa carrière adulte de 1969 à 1972 au HK Kranjska Gora qui était en fait l'équipe réserve de Jesenice.
Longtemps capitaine de Jesenice. Huit fois champion de Yougoslavie. Il a aussi joué en Italie pour le HC Alleghe.
