Began skating at the age of four and playing ice hockey by the age of five.
Grew up rooting for his hometown team Pardubice.
Highly skilled winger and effortless skater. Superb stick technique and good on-ice vision.
More of a passer than shooter. Not so strong physically. Injury prone.
Represented the Czech Republic at the Inline hockey World Championships in 2004, leading all Czech players with 13 points (9+4) in 5 games.
Played his last season in 2017/18 (only 7 games with Montréal because of a concussion) and officially retired in 2020.

Il a commencé à patiner à 4 ans et à jouer au hockey à 5 ans.
Il a grandi en supporter de l'équipe de sa ville natale Pardubice.
Ailier très talentueux qui patinait sans effort. Magnifique technique de crosse et bonne vision sur la glace.
Plus un passeur qu'un tireur. Pas très fort physiquement. Sujet aux blessures.
Il était le meilleur marqueur de la République Tchèque aux championnats du monde de hockey inline 2004, avec 13 points (9+4) en 5 parties.
Il a joué ses dernières rencontres en 2017/18 (seulement 7 matches avec Montréal à cause d'une commotion) et a officiellement annoncé sa retraite en mai 2020.
572 (174+398) points marqués en 845 parties de saison régulière de NHL.
