Older brother of Micke Johansson. Raised in Huddinge, a suburb of Stockholm. Smart center who won two league titles in Sweden and three in Switzerland.
Retired in 1994. Became a successful hockey coach later on.

Frère aîné de Micke Johansson, il a grandi, comme le cadet, à Huddinge où il a également été formé. Centre de classe, deux fois champion de Suède et trois fois en Suisse, où il a joué quelques saisons (comme Micke d'ailleurs).
Après sa retraite en 1994, devenu un entraîneur à succès, champion de Suède 2008 avec le HV71.
