Authoritative player on the ice. Played for MTV München in 1913. Co-founder of SC Riessersee in 1923 and one of the driving forces behind the development of ice hockey in Bavaria. Also wrote several books on ice hockey. Was an LIHG referee.
Inducted into the German Hockey Hall of Fame.

Joueur plein d'autorité, il débute au MTV München en 1913. Participe à la fondation de l'historique SC Riessersee en 1923 et deviendra une des figures tutélaires du hockey bavarois. Auteur de plusieurs livres en allemand sur le hockey, il sera arbitre international après sa carrière de joueur.
Introduit au Hall of Fame du hockey allemand.
