Grew up admiring the play of Anders Eldebrink and had him as a role model.
One of only four Austrian-born players along Gerhard Puschnik, goaltender Divis and captain Ganster to enter the ice during the final when Feldkirch became an astounding European champion. He got injured during the game.
Retired in 2010 but continued playing after that sporadically each year in the lower leagues.
Went on to coach in hockey and also served as a general manager and director of hockey operations for VEU Feldkirch. Was an electrician by trade.

Il a grandi en admirant le jeu d'Anders Eldebrink qu'il prit pour modèle.
Un des quatre seuls joueurs nés en Autriche (avec Gerhard Puschnik, le gardien Divis et le capitaine Ganster à être monté sur la glace lors de la finale historique qui a vu Feldkirch remporter à la surprise générale le titre de champion d'Europe. Il s'est blessé au cours du match.
Retraité en 2010 mais il continua ensuite à jouer sporadiquement dans des ligues mineures.
Il devint entraîneur de hockey ainsi que manager général et directeur de la filière hockey du VEU Feldkirch. Électricien de profession.
