Talented offensive blueliner who grew up idolizing Larry Robinson.
He was a slick puckhandler and had a hard shot from the point, often being used on the powerplay.
Often late and a bit slow in his backchecking.
His greatest hockey thrill was when he scored a hat trick in his first game for the Los Angeles Kings on October 9, 1993.
Never quite established himself in the NHL and moved to Europe. Winner of 1998 European Hockey League, voted best defenceman in the Final Four.
Retired in 2004. Made a brief three-game comeback in 2010/11.
Moved back to North America and settled down in California where he coached young players.

Défenseur offensif talentueux. Son idole de jeunesse était Larry Robinson.
Fin dans sa conduite de palet et possédant un gros lancer, il était souvent utilisé en supériorité numérique.
Il avait une telle attirance pour la zone offensive que son repli défensif était un peu tardif.
La plus grande émotion de sa carrière fut le hat-trick inscrit lors de son premier match avec les Kings de Los Angeles, le 9 octobre 1993.
Il n'a jamais pu s'établir en NHL et a joué une décennie en Europe. Vainqueur de l'EHL 1998 et meilleur défenseur du tournoi final.
Retraité en 2004. Il fit un bref retour de trois matchs en 2010/11.
Il retourna en Amérique du Nord et s'établit en Californie où il devint entraîneur chez les jeunes.
13 points (5+8) en 38 parties de saison régulière de NHL.
