Son of Arvi Lind, a former TV-news anchor who worked in TV between 1965 and 2003.
Solid two-way forward and pretty reliable point producer. Had a very good eye for the game.
Was useful on specialty teams, frequently being used both on the powerplay and penalty kill.
A fine team player and prankster who kept a good atmosphere in the locker room.
Won the SM-liiga three times. Won 1995 European Cup.
Announced his retirement on July 13, 2010. Went on to work as an expert commentator for the Finnish Broadcasting Company.
He also wrote ice hockey blogs for Yle Sports and appeared as a hockey expert in radio programs.
Inducted into the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame.

Fils d'Arvi Lind, ancien présentateur de journal télévisé qui officia dans le petit écran de 1965 à 2003.
Solide attaquant dans les deux sens et marqueur plutôt régulier, il possédait une très bonne vision du jeu.
Utile dans les unités spéciales, fréquemment employé en supériorité comme en infériorité numérique.
Joueur d'équipe qui mettait une bonne ambiance dans le vestiaire par son sens de l'humour.
Champion de Finlande 1994 (avec le titre de meilleur débutant), 1996 et 1997. Champion d'Europe 1995. Champion d'Autriche 2007.
Il annonça sa retraite le 13 juillet 2010 et devint commentateur et analyste pour la société de radiodiffusion finlandaise.
Il tient également des blogs sur le hockey sur glace sur Yle Sports et intervient comme expert du hockey dans des programmes radio.
Honoré parmi les Lions du hockey finlandais (Jääkiekkoleijonat, n°213).
