Emerged as a very talented junior. Moved to Sweden in order to improve his hockey.
Technically skilled. Mobile and physical with a good reading for the game. Faced some critic about his physical shape.
Top scorer of the 1992 and 1993 Under 20 World Championships, Pool B.
Could also play on the left wing. Won Gullpucken as the best player in Norway 1995.
He had to leave Düsseldorf late 2004 after he had an affair with his longtime linemate Tore Vikingstad's wife.
Represented Norway in 94 official games. Retired in 2007 after a nagging hip problem.
President of Stjernen Hockey between 2013 and 2016.

Très talentueux chez les juniors, meilleur marqueur du Mondial B des moins de 20 ans en 1992 et 1993.
Très bon technicien, mobile et physique, qui lit bien le jeu. Sa condition physique a parfois été critiquée.
Il pouvait également jouer ailier gauche. Gullpucken du meilleur joueur norvégien en 1995.
Il dut quitter Düsseldorf pour raisons personnelles fin 2004 après avoir eu une aventure avec l'épouse de son coéquipier Tore Vikingstad.
International à l'occasion de 94 matchs officiels. Retraité en 2007 alors qu'il souffrait d'un problème à la hanche tenace.
Président du Stjernen Hockey de 2013 à 2016.
