Came to North America at the age of 18 to play junior hockey in the WHL.
Returned back home to Sokol Kiev after two years and continued playing mainly in Ukraine with short stops in Russia and the ECHL.
Won 1999 Winter Universiade gold medal. He insisted on playing the final game despite he had a 38°C fever.
Retired in 2009 and became a hockey coach in Ukraine.

Il s'est rendu en Amérique du Nord à l'âge de 18 ans pour jouer dans la ligue junior majeur de l'Ouest.
Rentré au Sokol Kiev après deux saisons, il joua principalement au pays hormis deux courts passages en Russie et en ECHL.
Médaillé d'or aux Universiades d'hiver 1999, il a insisté pour jouer la finale malgré 38°C de fièvre.
Retraité en 2009, devenu entraîneur de hockey en Ukraine.
