Nice blend of skill and intensity in his play. Good skater who always liked to play an up-tempo game. Considered to be a strong and creative center at both ends of the ice.
Had an assist in his NHL debut on March 30, 2002 (vs San José). NHL totals: 28-2-3-5
After his first World Championships at 21, he never appeared again in another international tournament, though he took part in national team camps in 2005 and 2006.
Somewhat of a hockey globetrotter, having played in Slovakia, Germany, Czech Republic, USA, Russia, Sweden, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Austria.
Won two titles in his career : German Bundesliga in 1999 (gaining promotion into the DEL with Essen) and Kazakhstan league in 2014. Retired in 2015.

Un joli mélange de talent et d'intensité dans son jeu. Bon patineur qui a toujours aimé jouer un hockey à un tempo élevé. Centre créatif et fort des deux côtés de la glace.
5 points (2+3) en 28 parties de saison régulière dans la NHL. Il a inscrit une assist dans son premier match, le 30 mars 2002 contre San José.
Après son premier championnat du monde à tout juste 21 ans, il n'a jamais participé à une autre compétition internationale, même s'il a joué des matches de préparation en 2005 et 2006.
Une sorte de globetrotter du hockey qui a joué en Slovaquie, Allemagne, République tchèque, États-Unis, Russie, Suède, Ukraine, Kazakhstan et Autriche.
Il a remporté deux titres à quinze ans d'intervalle dans sa carrière, la Bundesliga allemande en 1999 (gagnant la promotion en DEL avec Essen) et le championnat du Kazakhstan league en 2014. Il a pris sa retraite en 2015.
