Très longue carrière débutée en 1990 et qui se poursuivait toujours en 2017, à Most, au deuxième niveau tchèque. Joueur de bon niveau d'ensemble, doté de mains et d'un patinage véloces.
Pas très costaud, en revanche, ce qui pourrait expliquer que les Penguins de Pittsburgh n'ont pas donné suite après l'avoir drafté en 1992.
Plus d'un millier de matches, plus de 800 points en carrière.
