Grew up in Lambertseter. Smooth and quick skater and also had a decent shot.
He won the Norwegian championship seven times in a row and eight times in total.
He twice won Gullpucken as the player of the year in Norway (1970 & 1972).
Represented Norway 60 times. He was already a prospect as a junior and represented the junior national team for the first time in 1963. Scored 252 goals in 326 games for Vålerenga IF.
Also played for Sparta and was the playing coach for Rosenborg and Lambertseter in the late 1980s. Went on to work with floor & wall covering.

Il a grandi à Lambertseter. Patineur rapide et fluide mais qui possédait aussi un lancer satisfaisant.
Champion de Norvège 7 fois d'affilée et 8 fois en tout.
Il a remporté deux fois le Gullpucken de joueur de l'année en Norvège (1970 et 1972).
International norvégien 60 fois. Il était déjà suivi en junior et a pris part à la sélection junior norvégienne pour la première fois en 1963. Il a marqué 252 buts en 326 parties pour Vålerenga.
Il a également joué au Sparta et fut entraîneur-joueur à Rosenborg et Lambertseter à la fin des années 1980. Il travaillait dans les revêtements muraux et sols.
