Grew up idolizing Bobby Orr and later on Wayne Gretzky when he was a junior.
Small, slick finesse player with outstanding quickness and stickhandling ability.
Dependable player at both ends of the ice.
Liked to score from in close and was dangerous around the crease.
Used both forehand and backhand shots. Good on special teams. Also used on the point on powerplays.
After several concussions he announced his retirement on December 23, 1999.
Toughest and fiercest competitor according to him was the late Bob Probert.
Went on to work for Tampa Bay Lightning, helping out on the Sun Sports television during broadcasts of Lightning games.
Also served as the Director of Youth and Community Relations for the Lightning.

Joueur petit et très fin possédant une rapidité exceptionnelle et une habileté crosse en main.
Joueur fiable dans les deux sens du jeu.
Il aimait marquer de près et était dangereux à proximité de la cage.
À l'aise à la fois en lancer droit ou en revers. Bon dans les unités spéciales. Bien utile en supériorité numérique.
Après plusieurs blessures il annonça sa retraite le 23 décembre 1999.
Son adversaire le plus dur et féroce selon lui a été le regretté Bob Probert.
Il travailla pour le Lightning de Tampa Bay, et pour la chaîne de télévision Sun Sports durant les retransmissions des matchs du Lightning.
Il fut également directeur des relations avec la jeunesse et la communauté pour le Lightning.
