Tough and physical defenseman who for many years patrolled the blueline with reckless abandon for Paisley Mohawks between 1948 and 1960.
One of few British born and trained players to earn a regular spot in the British league.
He did not have so much natural skills but compensated that with a fighting spirit and willingness to play the body at all times.
