Captained Villard-de-Lans until 2014 and also was in charge of the physical preparations during the course of a season with weekly schedules for his teammates. Left when the small Alpine club dropped out from French top tier due to financial limitations.
Then joined Grenoble and Amiens. His stint with the French national team was short-lived but he played high level club hockey well into his thirties.
His brother Pascal was Villard-de-Lans' goalkeeper for more than a decade.

Capitaine (et parfois préparateur physique) de Villard-de-Lans entre ses débuts pros en 1997 et l'an 2014, quand le petit club alpin se retira volontairement de l'élite française. Rejoignit Grenoble puis Amiens.
Sa carrière chez les Bleus ressemble à un rendez-vous manqué, une injustice en regard de sa très belle carrière en Ligue Magnus qu'il poursuivit largement au-delà de la trentaine.
Son frère Pascal a longtemps gardé les buts de Villard-de-Lans.
