Born in the small town (population ca 4,200) of Bormio in northern Italy. This town in the Alps is known for its excellent skiing facilities and rich history of winter sports.
In the 1950s Ferraris was among the three best goaltenders in Italy. Very good when he was on a hot streak.
Passed away after a long illness in his home at Piani, Bolzano.

Né dans la petite cité alpine de Bormio dans le nord de l'Italie, qui compte environ 4200 habitants et parmi les meilleures installations de sports d'hiver du pays, en respect d'une longue tradition.
Ferraris fut un des trois meilleurs gardiens italiens des années 1950. Jamais plus chaud que sous la pression.
S'est éteint juste avant ses 81 ans d'une longue maladie dans son domicile de Piani, Bolzano.
