Born in Edmonton, Alberta, but grew up in Tsawwassen, British Columbia, after moving there with his family at the age of 12.
His father worked as a strength and conditioning coach for the Vancouver Giants.
Player with natural instincts around the opposing goal.
Tenacious player and strong on the forecheck. Solid two-way player. Always leading by example.
Good at agitating opposing goaltenders. Lacking a bit size and somewhat injury prone.

Né à Edmonton, Alberta, mais a grandi à Tsawwassen en Colombie-Britannique, après avoir déménagé avec sa famille à l’âge de 12 ans.
Son père a travaillé comme préparateur physique pour les Giants de Vancouver (équope de junior majeur).
Joueur avec des instincts naturels autour du but adverse.
Joueur tenance et fort sur la pression. Solide en attaque et en défense, donnant toujours l'exemple.
Doué pour énerver les gardiens adverses. Un peu petit (175 cm) et sujet aux blessures.
