Went to Italy in January 1939 as an Italo-Canadian student together with Antonio Prete and Ontario Venturi.
They went there to study and play hockey.
Represented Italy at the 1939 World Championships.
He was a journeyman player but played alongside many NHL’ers over the years.
After having quit playing in 1952 he went on to own Louisville Rebels between 1957-60. He led them to IHL championship title 1959 as head coach.
Then he managed to secure donated uniforms from Bill Wirtz, owner of the NHL Chicago Blackhawks, in order to outfit his Sudbury junior team he owned. His passion and dedication to junior hockey in the North was admirable.
For his efforts with the Louisville team he was named a “Kentucky Colonel,” the highest title of honour bestowed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Parti étudier et jouer au hockey en Italie en janvier 1939 avec deux autres étudiants italo-canadiens, Antonio Prete et Ontario Venturi.
Il a représenté l’Italie aux Championnats du monde 1939. Sa carrière voyageuse lui a fait côtoyer de nombreux joueurs de NHL.
Après avoir arrêté en 1952, il est devenu propriétaire des Rebels de Louisville entre 1957 et 1960. Il les a conduits au titre de champion IHL 1959 comme entraîneur.
Il a ensuite obtenu un don d'équipements par Bill Wirtz, propriétaire de l’équipe NHL des Blackhawks des Chicago, pour habiller l'équipe junior de Sudbury qu'il dirigeait. Sa passion et son dévouement pour le hockey junior furent admirables.
Pour ses efforts avec l’équipe de Louisville, il fut nommé “Kentucky Colonel”, le plus haut titre honorifique décerné par le Kentucky.
