This winger was noted as a very good shooter and an excellent skater.
One of the first players outside Prague to represent Czechoslovakia.
As a youngster he was hailed as the „second Maleček“.
Was a reserve player for the 1934 World Championships (Was an injury reserve).
Also nominated for the 1937 World Championships but didn’t make the final cut.
He also had three younger brothers who all played for Troppauer EV.
His name have wrongly been given as „Wilhelm Heinz“ born in July 1904.
But his name was „Alfred Heinz“. Wilhelm was one of his younger brothers born in 1915.
The brothers were Karl (b.1904), Otto (b.1907), Alfred (b.1910), Ferdinand (b.1911), Franz (b.1913), Wilhelm (b.1915) and Walter (b.1918).

Cet ailier était réputé avoir un très bon tir et un excellent patinage.
Un des premiers joueurs de province à représenter la Tchécoslovaquie.
Quand il était jeune on le présentait comme le "second Maleček".
Il était réserviste en cas de blessure pendant les championnats du monde 1934.
Il a aussi été pré-sélectionné pour championnats du monde 1937, mais sans atteindre la sélection finale.
Trois de ses frères plus jeunes que lui ont aussi joué pour le Troppauer EV.
Il a parfois été identifié à tort comme "Wilhelm Heinz" né en juillet 1904.
Mais son nom était bien "Alfred Heinz". Wilhelm était l'un de ses jeunes frères, né en 1915.
Les sept frères étaient Karl (1904), Otto (1907), Alfred (1910), Ferdinand (1911), Franz (1913), Wilhelm (1915) et Walter (1918).
