He developed his skills in Hasle AIL. His acrobatic style made him a crowdpleaser.
Positionally strong. Considered to be the best Norwegian goaltender in the second half of the 1930s.
During the 1936/37 season he came to Trygg and played there for one year before coming back to Hasle.
Didn’t retire as a goaltender until 1957. Also played tennis.

Fort en positionnement. Considéré comme le meilleur gardien norvégien de la seconde moitié des années 1930.
Durant la saison 1936/37 il est parti jouer à Trygg avant de revenir à Hasle dès l'année suivante.
Il n'a pas pris sa retraite de gardien avant 1957. Il jouait aussi au tennis.
