Nifty and consistent center with good playmaking abilities.
Started playing in Kushiro until coming to Oji in 1963.
Was a three time Japanese league MVP (1967, 70, 74).
Also a nine time Japanese league All-Star (1967, 68, 69, 70, 71, 73, 74, 76, 78).
Scored 353 (176+177) career league points in 220 games. Played 17 consecutive league seasons.
Voted as the best forward at the 1970 Pool B World Championships. Retired in 1983.
Stayed involved in ice hockey and was a popular coach who won five titles during his career.

Trois fois MVP du championnat japonais (1967, 1970, 1974).
