Regarded as one of the most versatile pre-war Finnish athletes.
Aside from being a great ice hockey player, he was also a top performer in bowling, baseball, handball and basketball.
Had a 28-year baseball career. Was a Finnish Ice hockey champion in 1935.
Represented Finland in the European championships in basketball, the same year he played in the ice hockey World Championships.
Won several Finnish Bowling championships. Also played in the highest handball league.
As an ice hockey player he spent a total of 14 league seasons for HJK Helsinki between 1933 and 1952 (84 games and 55 points).
Retired in 1952.

Considéré comme l'un des athlètes finlandais les plus polyvalents d'avant-guerre.
En plus d'un joueur génial de hockey sur glace, il pratiqua à un haut niveau le bowling, le baseball, le handball et le basketball.
Il connut une carrière de 28 ans au baseball. En hockey sur glace, il fut champion de Finlande en 1935.
International finlandais aux championnats d'Europe de basketball, la même année que sa participation aux Mondiaux de hockey sur glace.
Plusieurs fois champion de Finlande de bowling. Il joua également en championnat élite national de handball.
En tant que joueur de hockey, il joua 14 saisons pour le HJK Helsinki entre 1933 et 1952 (84 matchs et 55 points).
Il prit sa retraite en 1952.
