One of the goaltending pioneers of Danish hockey. He learned to play the game while he was studying in London. He also competed in the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin where he rowed with the men's coxed fours, finishing in 6th place.

Un des pionniers danois du poste de gardien, auquel il se forma pendant ses études à Londres. Fut du 47-0 encaissé par son pays contre le Canada lors des Mondiaux 1949. Sa participation aux Jeux d'été de Berlin en 1936 fut plus agréable, puisqu'il termina sixième du concours d'aviron (quatre avec barreur).
