As a senior he first emerged as a talented player for KHK Akademik Sofia in the early 1960s. He then continued playing for HC Metallurg Sofia, before permanently establishing himself on the Army club CSKA Sofia and the national team. Later became a hockey coach with CSKA Sofia.

Issu des rangs du KHK Akademik Sofia dont il intègre l'équipe senior très jeune, au tout début des années 60, avant de passer au Metallurg Sofia et de faire le grand saut vers le club de l'armée, le CSKA Sofia, qui lui ouvre la porte de l'équipe nationale. On le retrouve après sa carrière dans le staff du CSKA.
