Played for Melrose High School in the late 1920, captaining the team.
He was active in football, baseball, track, ice hockey and golf.
Played for Hebron in 1929/30. Graduated from Brown University in 1934. He was originally scheduled to play at the 1934 world championships, but a last minute reinforcement by Pete Bessone put him on the bench.
In later years he became a golf enthusiast. He was founder and first president of the Vermont Seniors' Golf Association and of the Southern Arizona Seniors' Golf Association. Active in the USGA Green Section, he was an executive on the World Senior Golf Association Board.

Il a joué pour le lycée Melrose à la fin des années 1920, et il y était capitaine de l'équipe.
En plus du hockey sur glace, il était actif au football, au baseball, en athlétisme et au golf.
Il a d'abord représenté la "Hebron High School" en 1930 avant d'être diplômé de l'Université Brown en 1934, année où il aurait dû participer aux Mondiaux si le renfort de dernière minute de Pete Bessone ne l'avait pas poussé sur le banc.
Il s'est ensuite consacré au golf. Fondateur de la "Vermont Seniors' Golf Association" et de la "Southern Arizona Seniors' Golf Association", dans l'État où il a fini ses jours. Fut aussi dirigeant de l'USGA Green Section et de la World Senior Golf Association.
