Good skater, creating a lot of chances. Not shy when it comes to shooting. Fast and accurate shot. A defensive liability at times which kept him out of the Finnish national team.
Spent the majority of his playing career in Finland, except for a three-year stint in Sweden. Announced his retirement on October 17, 2014.

Ailier droit d'impact, bon patineur et gratteur d'occasions, tireur spontané qui savait viser. Son manque de discipline défensive l'a empêché de rentrer durablement dans le noyau des Leijonat.
A fait toute sa carrière (quinze ans) en Finlande (KalPa, Jokerit, SaiPa) si on excepte trois ans en Suède (Luleå, Mora). Retraité depuis octobre 2014.
