Brother of Bronius Kuzmickas. Already won his first Lithuanian hockey championship in 1931 with LFLS Kaunas. He was a very good sportsman who also represented Lithuania in football on six occasions as a goalkeeper. Since he was a goalkeeper in football, he also got to see duty between the pipes when he played ice hockey.
