Both his parents were born in Massachusetts. Had a two-year education from high school.
He was the youngest American player on the 1939 World Championship roster.
Dressed as a backup goaltender in three games for USA at the 1939 World Championships.
Was a spare player for six games at the Championships.
He was a primarily a defenseman, but also played as a forward.
Played for Athletic Club in New York during the 1938/39 season.
In 1939/40 he played for New York Stock Exchange Brokers.
Enlisted in 1942 and served in WW II (at Guam). Later served with the airforce in Vietnam.
Died from complications of injuries that he sustained in a plane crash in that war, losing both of his legs.

Aligné comme gardien remplaçant à l'occasion de trois matchs durant ces Mondiaux.
Il fut également joueur remplaçant durant les six autres rencontres.
Défenseur par nature, il pouvait également jouer en attaque.
Il jouait pour l'Athletic Club de New York durant la saison 1938/39.
La suivante, il portait les couleurs des New York Stock Exchange Brokers.
Engagé en 1942, il combattut durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale (à Guam). Il servit ensuite dans l'armée de l'air au Vietnam.
Décédé des complications de blessures contractées durant un accident d'avion lors de cette guerre, où il avait perdu ses deux jambes.
