Tough defenseman who was a Toronto product all the way.
Spent his entire junior career in native city.
During his first senior year he won the Allan Cup with Toronto Marlboros.
Played one year of Maritime hockey before finding a home with the Kitchener-Waterloo Dutchmen.
Played for the Dutchmen the rest of his career until hanging up the blades in 1958.
Had a brief cup of coffee with the strong Cleveland Barons (AHL) in 1955/56, only weeks after having played in the Olympics.
Scored 238 (84+154) career points in 577 games.
After his retirement as a player he moved to Unionville, Ontario.

Défenseur rugueux, pur produit de la formation de Toronto où il passa toute sa carrière junior.
Durant sa première année sénior il remporta la Coupe Allan avec les Marlboros de Toronto.
Il joua une année dans les Maritimes avant de rejoindre les Kitchener-Waterloo Dutchmen.
Il resta chez les Dutchmen le reste de sa carrière jusqu'à ce qu'il range ses patins en 1958.
Il fit un passage express chez les Barons de Cleveland (AHL) en 1955/56, quelques semaines après avoir participé aux Jeux Olympiques.
Auteur de 238 (84+154) points en 577 matchs dans sa carrière.
Après sa carrière de joueur il s'installa à Unionville, Ontario.
