Brainy player and strong in his own zone, forechecking hard.
Captained the Princeton University team in 1931.
Was hit in the nose by a stick during practice just prior to the Olympics which required several stitches.
Became a representative of the Grace Line in Peru for 12 years before serving in World War II as a lieutenant commander in the Navy.
President of International Instruments Inc., a company which manufactured electronic components. From 1969 he served on the board of directors.
Buried at Saint Paul's Episcopal Church Cemetery, NY.
On his gravestone there’s an inscription that says “Si Je Puis” (If I can).

Capitaine de l'équipe de l'Université de Princeton en 1931.
Touché au nez par une crosse à l'entraînement juste avant les Jeux, ce qui nécessita la pose de plusieurs points de suture.
Représentant de la compagnie maritime Grace Line au Pérou pendant 12 ans avant de devenir lieutenant commander dans l'US Navy pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale.
Président d'International Instruments Inc., un fabricant de composants informatiques, où il siégea au conseil d'administration à partir de 1969.
Enterré au cimetière de l'église épiscopale Saint Paul, à New York.
Sur sa pierre tombale figure l'épitaphe "Si Je Puis".
