Son of Albert and Marie Lüdecke.
He was noted as a good two-way player and was known to take great defensive responsibilities.
He first appeared with BFC Preussen in 1907.
The year after he came to Berliner SC and played there for some years.
Returned back to BFC Preussen and finished his playing career there in 1913/14.
Inducted into the German Hockey Hall of Fame.

Bon joueur dans les deux sens de la glace, connu pour prendre de grandes responsabilités défensives.
Il joua d'abord pour le BFC Preussen en 1907.
L'année qui suit il signa pour le Berliner SC où il joua quelques saisons.
Il retourna au BFC Preussen pour y finir sa carrière en 1913/14.
Intronisé au Hall of Fame du hockey allemand.
