Solid player who established himself in the Italian league and national team in the 1980s.
He won seven league titles with HC Bolzano and represented Italy 115 times.
Worked as a physical education teacher at Franziskanergymnasium from 1982.
He also coached in hockey. Was a head coach for the Italian junior national team in 1994/95.
Mair also served as an assistant coach for the Italian national team between 1997 and 2000.

Joueur solide qui s'est fait sa place dans le championnat italien et en sélection dans les années 1980.
Sept fois champion d'Italie avec le HC Bolzano et comptant 115 sélections.
Professeur d'Éducation Physique au Franziskanergymnasium (lycée franciscain) de Bolzano à partir de 1982.
Il était également coach de hockey. Sélectionneur des juniors italiens lors de la saison 1994/95.
Mair travailla également comme entraîneur assistant dans la sélection sénior entre 1997 et 2000.
