Older brother of Joe. Born and raised in Buckingham, QC.
Learned the game at Buckingham and played in the Lower Ottawa League.
Came to the United States late in 1916 and played with the Pittsburgh AA team.
Served as a mechanic in the Motor Transport Corps during WW I.
His honorable discharge granted him automatic US citizenship just a few weeks before the 1920 Olympics.
Later lived in Hyannis, MA and frequently used to attend the local St.Francis Xavier Church.
Passed away following a short illness in a Hyannis hospital.

Frère aîné de Joe. Il est né et a grandi à Buckingham, au Québec.
Il a appris le jeu à Buckingham et joua en ligue mineure d'Ottawa.
Arriva aux États-Unis fin 1916, il joua pour l'équipe de Pittsburgh AA.
Mécanicien pour le corps des transports motorisés durant la Première Guerre mondiale.
Ce service militaire lui fit obtenir la nationalité américaine peu de temps avec les Jeux de 1920.
Il vécut plus tard à Hyannis (Massachussets) et était un fidèle assidu de l'église locale St.Francis Xavier.
Décédé d'une brève maladie à l'hôpital de Hyannis.
