Grew up in Edina, MN. Athletics were always a big part of his life. Also a good football and baseball player.
But ice hockey was the sport he prefered and decided to follow that route.
He earned a scholarship to the University of Minnesota.
Drafted by the Minnesota Fighting Saints (WHA) in 1972.
Never played at the 1972 Olympics due to a nagging shoulder injury.
His only two NHL games came in 1973, on February 17 (Boston) and February 18 (Philadelphia).
Went on to operate Golden Eagle Golf Club in Fifty Lakes, Minnesota. He designed and built the course with former PGA Tour player Mike Morley. The course won several awards.

Il a grandi à Edina dans le Minnesota. Le sport a pris une grande part dans sa vie, c'était aussi un bon joueur de football et de baseball.
Mais le hockey tenait sa préférence donc il a poursuivi dans cette voie.
Il a obtenu une bourse pour l'Université du Minnesota.
Drafté par les Minnesota Fighting Saints (WHA) en 1972.
Il n'a pas pu jouer les des Jeux olympiques de 1972 en raison d'une blessure tenace à l'épaule.
Il n'a joué que deux matchs dans la NHL en 1973, le 17 février (Boston) et le 18 février (Philadelphie).
Il a exploité le Golden Eagle Golf Club à Fifty Lakes, dans le Minnesota. C'est lui qui a imaginé et conçu le parcours avec l'ancien golfeur du PGA Tour Mike Morley. Ce parcours a reçu plusieurs distinctions.
