Unspectacular defenseman who played within his limitations.
He played for Star Lausanne (1928/29), EHC St.Moritz (1929-31), Zürcher SC (1931-33) and EHC Arosa (1931, 1933-36) during his playing career, before retiring in the late 1930s.
Was a butcher.
He is not to be confused with famous Davos based sports and hockey photographer Emil Meerkämper [1877-1948].

Défenseur peu spectaculaire qui jouait sur ses propres limites.
Il joua pour le Star Lausanne (1928/29), l'EHC Saint-Moritz (1929-31), le Zürcher SC (1931-33) et l'EHC Arosa (1931, 1933-36), avant sa retraite à la fin des années 1930.
Il était boucher.
Il ne doit pas être confondu avec le célèbre photographe sportif et de hockey, basé à Davos, Emil Meerkämper [1877-1948].
