As a child, he moved with his family to Opole. There he made his debut for the local second division team at the tender age of 14.
Soon he was discovered by Jan Golabek who was in charge of Cracovia. As a 16-year old he was an immediate success.
Well-conditioned, brave and technical player. Noted as a game winner.
Played his entire career for Cracovia between 1964-87. His number 18 sweater was retired by Cracovia.
He scored 165 league goals in 384 games. Represented Poland 44 times (10 goals).
Went into coaching, first being an assistant in Cracovia and then taking care of the first team and junior team.
He eventually got fired and it turned out to be a pretty traumatic experience for him.
It is believed that all the stress of his coaching duties caused him a heart attack.
Both his son and daughter also played ice hockey.
Also known as "Migawa".
Buried at the Bronowice cemetery in Kraków.

Enfant, il a déménagea avec sa famille à Opole. Il fit ses débuts avec l'équipe locale en deuxième division à seulement 14 ans.
Il fut vite repéré par Jan Golabek qui s'occupait du Cracovia. Il avait 16 ans et son transfert fut un succès immédiat.
Joueur bien préparé, courageux et technique. Connu comme un gagnant.
Il joua tout le reste de sa carrière à Cracovie entre 1964 et 1987. Son numéro 18 fut retiré par le club.
165 points en 384 matchs de championnat. 44 sélections en équipe de Pologne (10 buts).
Il passa entraîneur, d'abord en tant qu'assistant à Cracovie puis en prenant en charge les équipes senior et junior.
Il fut finalement licencié et vécut cela comme une expérience traumatisante.
On croit d'ailleurs que c'est tout le stress vécu comme entraîneur qui lui causa une crise cardiaque.
Son fils et sa fille ont également joué au hockey.
Egalement connu sous le nom de "Migawa".
Enterré au cimetière Bronowice de Cracovie.
