Born and raised in Niagara Falls. Played his junior hockey in Ontario.
He won an Ontario Minor Hockey Association Championship in 1973 (at 10).
Offered a scholarship to Boston University.
Went to Wilfrid Laurier and York University. Moved to Italy in 1987 where he spent six seasons.
Known for his natural athletic ability and playing skills. Retired 1993.
Went on to coach in hockey, before taking on many executive and administrative positions in Provincial and National Sports Organizations.
Was appointed the executive director of the CJHL in 2014.

Il est né et a grandi à Niagara Falls. Il a joué en junior dans l'Ontario.
Il a remporté le championnat de hockey mineur de l'association de l'Ontario en 1973 (à dix ans).
Il a suivi une scolarité à l'Université de Boston.
A également fréquenté Wilfrid Laurier et l'Université de York. Il a rejoint l'Italie en 1987 où il joua six saisons.
Connu pour ses aptitudes athlétiques naturelles et sa technique de jeu. Retraité en 1993.
Il est devenu entraîneur de hockey, avant d'occuper plusieurs postes executifs et administratifs dans les organisations de sport provinciales et nationales.
Nommé directeur executif de CJHL en 2014.
