His father Corey Neilson was a Canadian blueliner who came to play in Great Britain and represented the country in his late career. His mother is Scottish. Logan was born in the USA, thus he holds three citizenships (Canadian, British and American)
Logan is as big (195 cm) as his father and also shots from the right but plays as a forward.
Strong along the boards and in the slot area. Good shot.
Started ice hockey in Nottingham and went to play in North America at 14 like his older brother Cade Neilson.
Named EIHL Young British Player of the Year when he came back to Nottingham in 2023/24. Playoff champion 2025.

Son père Corey Neilson est un défenseur canadien arrivé en Grande-Bretagne à 30 ans et qui en a porté le maillot en fin de carrière. Sa mère est écossaise. Logan est né aux États-Unis donc il a une triple nationalité (canadienne, britannique et américaine)
Logan est aussi grand que son père (195 cm) et tire aussi de la droite, mais il joue en attaque.
Fort et puissant le long des bandes et dans l'enclave, il est doté d'un bon tir.
Il a commencé le hockey à Nottingham et est parti en Amérique du Nord à 14 ans comme son frère aîné Cade Neilson.
Nommé meilleur jeune joueur britannique d'EIHL à son retour à Nottingham en 2023/24 avec Nottingham. Vainqueur des playoffs 2025.
En quête de temps de jeu, il passe en quelques mois à Sheffield puis à Fife avant de signer à Briançon en France en 2026.
