First emerged as a goaltender for the Prague-based, German-speaking club Deutsche Eishockey Gesellschaft Prag in 1908. He stayed loyal to the club for many years, and was the goaltender for the club as late as 1922. He often organized the games played by DEHG.
In civilian life he was as a machinist/engineer.

Apparu comme gardien de la Deutsche Eishockey Gesellschaft Prag - le club pragois germanophone - en 1908. Il est resté loyal à ce club et en a été le gardien jusqu'en 1922. Il organisait souvent les rencontres jouées par la DEHG.
Dans la vie civile il était machiniste/ingénieur.
