Son of József Oláh and Ilona Vujevich. Versatile three sport player.
Primarily known as a football (soccer) player and referee. He was one of the football pioneers in Hungary and was already a member of the Ferencvárosi TC (FTC) club at its formation in 1899. In high school he played football with several future FTC players. He played as a goalkeeper and defenseman for FTC and MAC (Magyar AC) between 1903 and 1908, winning the Hungarian championship 1903.
That same year (1903), the Hungarian sports newspaper Nemzeti Sport wrote: "Oláh Aladár. 18 years old; Calm player; sharp eyes and good with his feet. He is still new in the role of goalkeeper, but he already shows a lot of promise." After the season, the newspaper summarized his performance: "It was a big step forward for the club that, after so many unsuccessful attempts, they finally managed to get a talented goalkeeper in the person of Oláh. FTC became this year's winner of the Polónyi Award and Oláh was a big part in that."
In 1904 he began his law studies at MAC which ment that he transferred to the MAC football club.
In 1911 he was the Hungarian reserve goalie in the football game against Italy (1-0) at Milan.
But aside from football, he also played tennis and ice hockey.
He in fact played ice hockey as early as February 1907 in Budapest.
Later became a FIFA referee and was involved in the Hungarian tennis association.
Some sources have him dying on January 10, and when he died, Nepsport wrote that he was 84 years old.

Essentiellement connu pour sa carrière de joueur et d'arbitre de football. C'est l'un des pionniers du football hongrois, l'un des membres fondateurs du club du Ferencvárosi TC (FTC) à sa création en 1899. Au lycée il avait pratiqué le football avec plusieurs futurs joueurs du FTC. Il pouvait jouer gardien comme défenseur pour le FTC et le MAC (Magyar AC) entre 1903 et 1908, remportant le championnat hongrois en 1903.
La même année (1903), le journal sportif hongrois Nemzeti Sport écrivait : "Oláh Aladár. 18 ans ; joueur calme, une bonne vision et dôté d'un bon jeu de pied. Il est encore jeune au poste de gardien, mais il a déjà montré de quoi nourrir de grandes promesses." À la fin de cette saison, le journal résumait sa performance ainsi : "C'était un grand pas en avant pour le club qui, après plusieurs essais infructueux, est enfin parvenu à trouver un gardien de talent en la personne d'Oláh. FTC a remporté cette saison le trophée Polónyi et Oláh en fut un grand artisan."
En 1904 il débuta des études de droit au MAC ce qui amena à son transfert vers le club de football du MAC.
En 1911 il fut gardien remplaçant du match de football de la Hongrie face à l'Italie (1-0) à Milan.
En plus du football, il pratiqua également le tennis et le hockey sur glace, qu'il a pratiqué dès février 1907 à Budapest.
Devenu ensuite arbitre FIFA et impliqué dans la fédération hongroise de tennis.
Certaines sources le déclarent décédé le 10 janvier, et à son décès, Nepsport indiquait qu'il avait 84 ans.
