Began his career playing for Ermak Angarsk. Could play both as a left wing and as a right wing. Came to North America in 1993 and took the long way to the NHL, earning it through a lot of hard work in the minors. Very well conditioned.
Averaged size but looked like he was cut out of stone. Tremendous skater with good hands. Strong on the puck. Tons of overall skills.
Saw very limited ice time in Montreal, until a knee injury took him out of the lineup, and he never got to play in the NHL again.
Continued his playing career in Switzerland and Russia until retiring in 2010.

Il a commencé sa carrière en jouant au Ermak Angarsk. Il pouvait jouer à la fois sur l'aile gauche ou l'aile droite. Il arriva en Amérique du Nord en 1993 et a emprunté le long chemin pour la NHL, décrochant cette ligue au prix d'un gros travail dans les ligues mineures. Il était toujours dans les meilleurs conditions physiques.
De taille moyenne, mais il semblait être taillé dans la pierre. Énorme patineur avec de bonnes mains. Solide avec le palet. De grandes capacités générales.
Il a eu un temps de glace limité à Montréal, jusqu'à ce qu'une blessure au genou le sorte des alignements, et il ne put jamais revenir en NHL.
Il a poursuivi sa carrière en jouant en Suisse et en Russie jusqu'à sa retraite en 2010.
