Was a great skater who could really fly down his wing. Never afraid to throw his weight around.
Played his college hockey at Harvard and reached the „Frozen Four“.
This was the beginning of several calls to represent USA, which he did at the Olympics, World Championships and Canada Cup.
According to himself, 1976 was his most satisfying year.
Not only did he become a professional in the WHA, he also got the privilege to play in the Olympics.
Was a great scorer in the minors but never really earned a permanent spot in the NHL. Developed into a good leader in later years.
Retired in 1985 after having scored 612 (312+300) career points in 836 games.
Started a hockey program at Messalonskee High School and then went into business as an insurance agent (Higgins and Bolduc).

Excellent patineur qui débordait à grande vitesse sur son aile. Il n'avait pas peur de faire parler son gabarit.
Il a joué au hockey universitaire à Harvard et a atteint le carré final national ("Frozen Four").
Cela déclencha de nombreux appels de la sélection américaine, aux JO, aux Mondiaux et à la Coupe Canada.
D'après lui-même, 1976 fut son année la plus satisfaisante. Non seulement il y est passé professionnel en WHA, mais il a aussi eu le privilège de participer aux Jeux olympiques.
Grand buteur en ligues mineures qui n'a jamais obtenu une place régulière en NHL. Devenu un bon leader en fin de carrière.
Retraité en 1985 après avoir marqué 612 points (312+300) en carrière en 836 matchs.
Il a lancé un programme de hockey program au lycée de Messalonskee puis il fit des affaires dans les assurances (Higgins and Bolduc).
41 points (22+19) en 102 parties de saison régulière de NHL.
