Unspectacular and underrated player. Was able to fill almost any role given to him by his coaches.
Could play all three forward positions and was often relied upon as a strong two-way player. Low point of gravity. Extremely adept with the puck.
Sound playmaker and above average skater.
Good strength in his wrists from his years helping out on the family farm. Underrated wristshot. Said to be “Russian” in his playing style.
Represented Sweden 108 times.
After his playing career he became a successful horse breeder and trotting driver.
Spelled his first name both as Per-Olov and Per-Olof.

Joueur peu spectaculaire et sous-coté. Il était capable de s'adapter à tous les rôles que lui confiaient ses entraîneurs.
Il pouvait jouer dans les trois positions offensives et était connu pour sa régularité dans les deux sens du jeu. Un point de gravité très bas. Extrêmement doué avec le palet.
Naturellement meneur de jeu et un patinage plus performant que la norme.
Il acquit une grande force dans les poignées de l'époque où il aidait dans la ferme familiale. Un lancer du poignet sous-côté. Considéré comme "russe" par son style de jeu.

Après sa carrière de joueur, il devint un propriétaire hippique à succès et un jockey.
Son prénom peut s'épeler à la fois Per-Olov ou Per-Olof.
