Legendary Philadelphia Flyers player who began playing hockey at the age of eight. "Heart and Soul" type of player with great leadership qualities, very coachable player. Excellent on faceoffs and a superb passer. Did anything to win. Borderline dirty at times.
The kind of player that every team loved to have but hated to play against. Diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 12. Centered the successful LCB-line with Reggie Leach and Bill Barber. Went on to work as a general manager in the NHL.
Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Un des historiques de la franchise des Philadelphia Flyers. Originaire d'une ville du coeur canadien au nom trivial (Flin Flon), il commence le hockey à huit ans. Diagnostiqué du diabète quatre ans plus tard, il ne renonce pas.
Cela explique son caractère de joueur entièrement dévoué à la cause, au profil de meneur et très à l'écoute. Excellent passeur et gratteur de mises au jeu, capable de n'importe quoi pour gagner. Du meilleur comme du pire.
Le genre de joueur que tout le monde rêve d'avoir à ses côtés, mais surtout pas de l'autre. Centre de la ligne LCB avec Reggie Leach et Bill Barber. Devint ensuite manager général en NHL.
Introduit au Hall of Fame du hockey canadien.
