Grew up in Greenlawn (near Huntington) on Long Island and went to ice hockey after attending New York Islanders NHL games as a boy.
Not big (178 cm, 83 kg) but feisty on rebounds and along the boards.
Versatile playmaker with a quick wrist shot, good skills and puck protection.
Excellent on-ice awareness and ability to find open spots for himself and his teammates.
He's always moving his feet but his skating lacks just a litte explosiveness.

Il a grandi à Greenlawn (près de Huntington) sur Long Island et s'est passionné pour le hockey en assistant en famille à des matches de NHL des New York Islanders.
Pas grand (178 cm, 83 kg) mais tenace sur les rebonds et le long des bandes.
Meneur de jeu polyvalent et technique. Tir du poignet fulgurant et bonne protection de palet.
Son excellente vision de la glace lui permet de trouver des espaces pour lui et ses coéquipiers.
Ses pieds sont toujours en mouvement mais son patinage manque juste d'un peu d'explosivité.
