Played junior hockey for Notre Dame Hounds and then college hockey for Lake Superior State University. In 1986 he was drafted by Winnipeg Jets (NHL). Attended Winnipeg’s training camp in 1987 but didn’t make the team.
Came to Bracknell (then at British second level) in 1990/91. Experienced a cultural shock when he discovered he had to play 50 minutes a game but helped the team to get promoted into the top league.
Played in Great Britain until his retirement in 2005. Scored 491 (151+340) career points in 894 games.
His number 8 jersey was officially retired by Bracknell Bees.

Joueur très solide qui n'hésite pas à se jeter devant les lancers.
Passe ses années de hockey scolaire aux Notre Dame Hounds avant de s'aligner pour l'équipe universitaire de Lake Superior State. Remarqué par les Jets qui le draftent en 1986, il participe à leur camp d'été en 1987 mais ne convainc pas.
Il joue alors en AHL, part en Finlande, puis atterrit en 1990/91 au deuxième niveau britannique, à Bracknell, où il vit un choc culturel en devant jouer 50 minutes par match mais fait monter l'équipe dans l'élite.
Il reste dix ans à Bracknell où son numéro 8 est désormais retiré. Naturalisé à temps pour vivre la participation de la Grande-Bretagne au Mondial élite.
Joue ensuite à Basingstoke et pour l'île de Wight avant de se retirer en 2005. 491 points (151+340) en 894 matches.
