Multi-talented sportsman who competed in three different sports during the Winter Olympics.
Aside from playing ice hockey both in 1924 and 1936, he also competed in Speed Skating, finishing 19th in both 500 m and 1,500 m in 1924.
In 1936 he finished 5th in the four man Bobsleigh event.
Stepfather of Micheline Lannoy, gold medal winner at the 1948 winter olympics (figure skating).

Sportif au talent multiple qui a participé aux Jeux olympiques d'hiver dans trois sports différents.
Outre le hockey sur glace, il a pris part au patinage au vitesse (19e à la fois sur 500m et sur 1 500m en 1924) et au bobsleigh, finissant 5e du bob à quatre en 1936.
Champion de Belgique de patinage de vitesse en 1922 en remportant toutes les courses.
Beau-père de Micheline Lannoy, médaillée d'or en patinage artistique aux Jeux olympiques 1948.
